I really enjoy making things

I've been with the company for four years now. I studied machinery in high school and college. I worked for a company that does video production for about four years.

Although I had studied in school, I had no practical experience when I joined the company. For about six months, I was taught one-on-one by my senior and was taught the basics thoroughly. After that, I learned little by little by asking various people, starting with simple repeat products.

I don't think I'll ever leave this company unless something really bad happens. The reason for this is that I can't help but enjoy my work. Here, new work comes in one after another, and different work comes in almost every week. Also, I'm entrusted with how to do the work, so I can think about the processing method and setup myself while thinking about the delivery date and post-processing. I don't think there are many other companies where I can be entrusted with this much. In the future, I would like to move not only to the current machining department, but also to the lathe department.

I want to work in Japan more

I've been here for six years. My previous job was in a completely different industry, so this (Katsui Kogyo) was my first time working with machines.

The biggest problem was the language. The technical terms were difficult. It took me a while, but I've started to understand them recently.

It's easy to work here because there are many people who are kind to foreigners.

Of course, the most important thing is to be able to earn a salary that matches your abilities and skills, but it's very important for us foreign workers to have a comfortable working environment where it's easy to learn and has good relationships.

I think there are many people in this company who love manufacturing. I myself love manufacturing work. I still want to work in Japan. I still want to try various manufacturing projects and gain more knowledge and experience. Even if I return to my home country in the future, I want to be connected to Katsui Kogyo and work in manufacturing.

The Talent We Need

Epresentative Director     Hirotomi Kojima

At Katsui Kogyo, we aim to create a workplace where everyone, whether Japanese or foreign, feels happy to work for us. We support engineers from overseas, especially Vietnam, so that they can use the experience they gained in Japan to further their careers in their home countries, and we also work to create a stable living environment for employees who come to Japan as married couples. Even if they return to their home countries someday, we hope to build a relationship with Katsui Kogyo that will continue, such as starting their own business and continuing the relationship as an outsourcing company.

The positive attitude and enthusiasm of people from overseas towards manufacturing is a good inspiration for our Japanese employees. We are not just a processing company, but we aim to be the first place that customers consult as a "total advisor" who can give technical advice including forging and mold processing. If you are motivated, we do not care about race or country of origin. Let's grow together and work together to create a happy environment.

Even if I fail, they push me to try harder next time.

It's my fourth year since I joined Katsui Kogyo, but I started out as a part-timer for about a year and a half, so I've been here for almost six years. The employees at Katsui Kogyo are all very kind, and they're always there to help me when I'm in trouble, whether it's work or personal.

The whole company is cheerful, and I really feel the kindness of the people. The president is also kind to everyone, and I feel every day that it's a warm workplace.

At first, I was nervous about working with machines, but the instruction method is solid, and no matter how many times I ask about something I don't understand, he doesn't look annoyed. Even if I fail, they push me to try harder next time, so I'm very grateful.

I'm very happy with my current workplace, and in the future, I hope to do something in my own country with my husband, who loves machines.
